Most of Bottega Veneta bags begin with strips of leather woven by hand, and that unmistakable craft, called intrecciato, has made the house famous since 1966. Here it comes in a dusty blue, a calm, sky after rain shade. The handles are rolled and comfortable, a keyhole style lock in matte metal closes the front, and a round leather charm swings from the strap tab for a little playfulness. A detachable strap lets you wear it across the body, and the accordion sides expand to hold more than you’d think.
