Sales-position source

BAGSMART’s official Best Sellers collection states that current customer favourites include its Blast 38L Travel Backpack. The product is listed in that Best Sellers collection, and the page describes the group as styles customers choose most often. This is seller confirmation of bestseller status, not a disclosed unit-sales rank: no sales totals or ranking period are provided, so the article does not call it BAGSMART’s single number-one seller.

BAGSMART official Best Sellers collection and FAQ

Seller-confirmed bestseller/customer-favourite status for the Blast 38L, checked 29 October 2026. BAGSMART does not publish units sold or the time period behind this designation; no single-number-one rank is claimed.

Why the Blast 38L made the list

BAGSMART features the Blast 38L Travel Backpack in its official Best Sellers collection. The collection says these are styles customers choose often, and its FAQ names the Blast 38L among current customer favourites. That is the seller’s bestseller signal for this review. BAGSMART does not disclose units sold or a ranking period, so this article does not present the backpack as the brand’s single number-one product. The US product page currently lists it at $74.99 with an Add to Bag option. Prices and stock may change, and other regional sites can show different terms.

Capacity: read the specification carefully

The product name highlights 38L, but the detailed specification describes 28 litres in its standard form and 38 litres when expanded. The listed dimensions are 31 × 20.5 × 42 cm, expanding to 31 × 25 × 42 cm, and the listed weight is 1.03 kg. That distinction matters if you are comparing the bag with a fixed-capacity backpack or checking a trip’s packing needs. BAGSMART describes it as carry-on and underseat compatible, but airlines set their own size limits and can change them; measure the packed bag and check the carrier’s current rules.

Compartments and access

The main compartment opens flat like a suitcase, which can make it easier to see clothing and pack cubes without unpacking everything. BAGSMART lists a padded laptop section with a 180-degree opening, interior mesh pockets, six-pocket organisation, quick-access exterior pockets and a separate shoe compartment. It also lists a compression system and a water-repellent exterior. These are useful design features to compare against how you pack, although this review has not tested zipper durability, water resistance or comfort with a full load.

Laptop fit and materials

The specification lists a laptop fit of up to 15.6 inches and identifies Taslon nylon with a PFAS-free DWR finish for the exterior, with a 210D high-density polyester lining. The size label is not a guarantee that every laptop of that screen size will fit: device body dimensions and case thickness vary, so compare your computer with the seller’s measurements before ordering. The page also describes a breathable back panel and padded shoulder straps as comfort features; those are design descriptions rather than a promise of a particular fit.

Verdict and buying checks

At $74.99, the Blast 38L offers a suitcase-style opening, several organisation pockets and an expandable format in a backpack weighing about 1.03 kg according to BAGSMART’s page. Its clearest strengths on paper are access to the main compartment and the option to increase capacity. The main point to verify is the 28L standard versus 38L expanded specification, especially if you expect a fixed 38L capacity or plan to use it as an underseat bag. The seller identifies it as a current customer favourite, but provides no sales totals or ranking period. This is a review of published specifications, not a hands-on test.
